Pedagogy & Viola
When we use the word 'pedagogy', we think of discussions about analyzing and creating effective teaching methods. Scroll down to explore a variety of media on the topic of viola teaching.

What's Below?
The boxes below contain links to viola pedagogy resources. The websites on the lower left include blogs, play-along videos, academic documents, performances, and more! Links on the right will connect you to a place to purchase the linked text.
Both lists include materials that I strongly recommend from my personal use and experience.
The lowest set of boxed items are linked to documents written by me. Each document explores a topic discussed during an instrumental pedagogy course under the direction of Dr. Michael Burns at the University of North Carolina Greensboro. The title of each document is directly associated with titles from the text "Musical Performance: Learning Theory and Pedagogy". The link to this text can be found in the lower right box.
